Stumbled on this article on LinkedIn. Martin Screeton makes a case for Basic Income Grant (BIG). He concludes:

The conclusion is one reached by many as we try to create jobs, in a world of increased automation and mechanisation. The path to this conclusion is however interesting, locating today’s challenges in the work of Karl Marx. In highlighting some aspects of Marx’s writing on automation, and more broadly the nature of capitalism, he makes an interesting case, that is well worth reading.
